Thought Leadership & Presence

I show up beyond the work.

Speaking, writing, mentoring, building community. This is what happens when design leadership extends past the deliverable. I invest in the field, in the next generation, and in the practitioners around me.

The first and most important choice a leader makes is the choice to serve.

My Leadership Philosophy

Build on earned trust.
I lead as though i'm always up for re-election. If my peers, direct reports, and leaders wouldn't enthusiastically vote for another term, then I haven't served them well enough.

NYU
Panelist & Guest Lecturer — AI, Data Strategy & Social Impact

Joined New York University Wagner graduate students as a panelist reviewing their Data & AI strategies for social impact organizations. Real work, real stakes, real feedback, and an invitation to return as a guest lecturer in Fall 2026.

The task? Coach students on building stakeholder confidence in their proposals and how to empower decision-makers to act on them, not just admire them.

Panelist — Entrepreneurship & Interdisciplinary Careers

Spoke with Princeton's top 20 entrepreneurial and creative students on the interdisciplinary paths that led us to IBM and what it means to bring an entrepreneurial lens inside a 100-year-old company.

The goal? Light a spark. Help them see that their entrepreneurial spirit isn't a liability inside enterprise. It's a superpower.

Women in Design & Technology

In Service of Women

Advocacy isn't a side project. It's woven into how I lead. Whether I'm building the first Women in Tech event for an entire organization or facilitating a design thinking workshop to strengthen a client relationship, I show up where it matters most: early, intentionally, and with something real to offer.

Design Thinking 101 — Educator

Facilitated a hybrid Design Thinking 101 course and interactive workshop for State Street's Professional Women's Network, bringing real design methodology into a client relationship in a way that was generous, practical, and genuinely useful.

What it led to

Strengthened our relationship, built real rapport, and created a refreshed impression with the client. The same sponsor opened the door to a company-wide hackathon. See Case Study 03 →

International Women's Day — Planning Committee & Panel Host

Served on the planning committee and hosted panels for IBM's Women's History Month and International Women's Day programming, organizing the kind of conversations that stay with people long after the calendar event is over.

The through line

Community doesn't happen by announcement. Someone has to design the experience, hold the room, and make it worth showing up for.

eSchool 4 Girls — Judge Panelist

I volunteer with eSchool 4 Girls, a nonprofit developing and supporting under-served high school girls as leaders and entrepreneurs. I've served as a speaker and as a judge evaluating student final business pitch presentations at NYU.

Founded & Hosted
Podcast Mastery — Internal Knowledge Series

When design decentralized across four hubs nationwide, connection didn't happen by accident, so I built it on purpose. I founded the Mastery podcast and personally hosted episodes with standout practitioners, sharing knowledge across a multi-disciplinary design community that suddenly had no shared hallway.

The mission

Inspire and encourage the pursuit of personal and professional mastery across the organization, because excellence is more contagious when it has a mic.

IBM FSM Newsletter — Market-Wide Editorial Direction

Since 2023, I've led the editorial strategy for the Financial Services Client Engineering organization's market-wide newsletter, shaping how a team of 1,000+ practitioners understands its own impact through KPIs, featured stories, and key client wins.

This isn't a recap email. It's a positioning tool that turns scattered work into a coherent story of business value so our recipe for success is scalable to others.
